It all depends on Wallonia Export & Investment Agency’s (AWEX) participation at the trade fair.

The m² of basic stands will vary depending on if it’s a joint AWEX pavilion, an AWEX prospecting stand, or an AWEX information stand.

Some trade fair organisers may set a minimum surface area in m² for basic stands.

Therefore, we suggest getting in touch with the SEP agent for the show to find out for sure.

These are produced by the stand builder who won our public contract. Further information will be provided by the relevant SEP agent.

In line with the new General Terms and Conditions of Participation, which came into force on 20 March 2025, spaces in the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) pavilion will be allocated when the final plans are drawn up or, if circumstances require, when the pavilion is erected.

Spaces will be allocated according to the following principles:

Firstly, as a general principle, Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) will allocate pitches in the general interest, with a focus on:

• maximising the pavilion’s attractiveness as well as the sector’s visibility;
• making optimum use of the total available surface area, considering the geometry and size of the site allocated by the event organiser.

Secondly, to the extent it’s able to, Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) will take choices expressed by companies into consideration. Companies will be given priority in the following order:

• Category 1: companies with high potential internationalisation (HPI), structuring companies, and/or companies allocated the largest area in m² at cost price, at their request;
• Category 2: companies exhibiting at the event for the first time, and companies that are less than five years old (starters);
• Category 3: companies that don’t fall into either of the two previous categories.

At any rate, site choice priority is subject to prior payment of the participation fee within the allotted time.

Within each of the categories mentioned above, the order of priority for companies is determined by the company’s invoice payment date.

As standard, you’ll get a counter bearing your company logo, along with a tall chair. This can be slightly adapted depending on the fair.

Your company will be responsible for providing:

• any additional furniture (a plinth, display unit, video screen, fridge, etc.);
• the costs and management of hiring local staff (a secretary, translator, driver, etc.);
• travel expenses (flights, accommodation);
• the shipment and reshipment of goods.
