How to become a client?

Submit an access request via the awex.be website. An appointment will quickly be arranged with a member of the team, most often at your company’s premises.

This initial meeting has several objectives:

To become familiar with your activities and export projects
To assess your company’s eligibility and access to our services, which will be explained to you in detail
To evaluate your readiness to engage in exporting through an internationalisation maturity assessment. The aim is to ensure that your company is genuinely prepared and has all the necessary internal resources in place

Conditions

Your company must meet all of the following conditions:

Have a company registration number (to be obtained from the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises)
Have an operational headquarters in Wallonia
Offer a product or service with genuine added value
Have a concrete international development project

Internationalisation maturity assessment

A tool designed to identify a company’s strengths and weaknesses with regard to international markets. Through an inclusive approach, the results generate tailored recommendations and support proposals to help strengthen and professionalise the international development efforts of Walloon companies.

This assessment is carried out by the account managers of the regional centres of the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX).

Personalised Support Programme and Service Packages

Following the assessment, the company receives a Personalised Support Programme (PSP), which includes, among other things, the financial and non-financial services offered based on the results of the assessment.

Passexport for High-Potential Internationalisation Companies and Strategic Companies

In addition to the priority handling of their applications, support for companies with a high internationalisation potential is strengthened through actions specifically designed for them by the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX), including business conventions and international events dedicated to connecting them with financial investors.
