Procedure
How can you submit an application?
The chamber of commerce submits its 2026 application via the client zone, with the following in attachment:
- the completed application form
- the ‘Advance’ claim form
The application is assessed by Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX), taking into account the budgets submitted and the Walloon added value of the actions carried out by the mixed chamber of commerce.
Practical information
The mixed chamber of commerce must be registered as an Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) member and have its own login details to submit its application online.
All grant applications must be submitted by 31 May of the calendar year in which the programme of actions is planned.
The grant application can only be processed if the form is complete and accompanied by the required annexes (the action programme form and the updated list of members).
The beneficiary is required to inform Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) and seek its prior approval for any changes to the initiative.
This is a ‘de minimis’ aid measure within the meaning of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023.
How to submit the request for the balance?
For applications that have been approved for a grant, the procedure is simplified, in accordance with the principle of trust.
To obtain payment of the balance, the mixed chamber of commerce must submit to the Agency, upon completion of the action programme and no later than 30 April of the calendar year following that in which the action programme was subsidised:
- an activity report on the implementation and impact of the actions undertaken on the Walloon economy;
- a statement of eligible costs incurred;
- a statement of claim for the balance.
The total grants received by the Mixed chamber of commerce for a single action must not exceed the actual cost of that action.
