Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM) supports fashion and design creators and businesses in their international expansion. Grants, coaching and trade fairs boost your visibility and expand your opportunities.

Advantages

Wallonia-Brussels Design Mode is one of five agencies in Wallonia-Brussels dedicated to the cultural and creative industries. WBDM is a quality-focused agency accelerating the international development of professionals in the design and fashion sector who are located in Wallonia and Brussels.

WBDM also acts as a talent curator and contributes to the international profile of Wallonia-Brussels fashion and design.

WBDM is part of Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX), the Culture Department of Wallonia-Brussels International (WBI) and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Fashion Services

Boost your visibility and international sales

To support actors in the fashion sector (ready-to-wear, accessories and jewellery), the WBDM Fashion Programme offers grants for projects and coaching, through WBI.

In addition, WBDM co-organises and promotes the Belgian Fashion Awards and the winners internationally, particularly in the press.

WBDM is part of the ‘Belgium is Fashion’ project, led by Belgium’s three regions, which promotes Belgian fashion on the international stage.

Connecting with buyers, influencers and the press

As part of the Belgium is Design project, led by Belgium’s three regions, WBDM organises collective participation at key events.

At the Designers to Business (D2B) meetings, WBDM invites international publishers to Belgium for structured B2B meetings and long-term collaborations.

WBDM also offers coaching grants, through WBI.
